You deserve full transparency — especially when your safety, property value, and the next two years of construction disruption are on the line.
❗ Who Are Regen Facades?
Regen Facades has been proposed as the contractor for upcoming remedial works at The Maltings. But there’s a critical backstory you may not know.
🔥 The Dalston Square Dispute
Between 2020 and 2022, Jessella Ltd (formerly trading as Regen) was hired by Barratt Homes to complete fire safety works at Dalston Square in East London. But by early 2023:
- The project fell apart amid delays and disputes.
- Barratt removed Jessella from the site.
- Residents were left trapped, unable to sell or remortgage.

⚠️ From Collapse to Comeback: Phoenix Company?
Shortly before Jessella entered administration in March 2023, a new company was formed by the same individual: Angelo Emilio Meola.
That company? Regen Facades Limited.
It shares:
- The same business activity
- The same registered office
- The same leadership team
This is commonly known as phoenixing — where a company shuts down to escape liability, then re-emerges with a new name to resume business as usual.
😷 Same Mess, New Branding
Now, the same people who oversaw a collapsed, legally disputed project want to work on our homes — and already have an HSE prohibition notice within just 15 months of incorporation.
🕵️♂️ What Needs Answering
Regen Facades, Bellway, and TTMC must publicly answer:
- What happened at Dalston Square?
- Why did Jessella collapse?
- What checks were done before Regen was selected?
- Why are residents being left out of the decision process?
- Who indemnifies us if the same thing happens again?
So far: silence.
📣 We’re Taking Action
We’ve raised this with:
- Bellway
- The Government
- Our MP
- The Court
- Barratt Homes
We are demanding full disclosure, and if Regen is appointed without proper consultation or scrutiny, we will challenge this legally and publicly.
📝 What You Can Do Right Now
Submit your questions to the Resident Liaison (via Bellway or TTMC) by Friday.
Ask:
- Was Bellway aware of Regen’s link to Jessella?
- What due diligence was done?
- Has Regen completed any similar projects since 2023?
- Why were more established firms overlooked?
- Will residents be allowed to veto or approve the final contractor?
- What protections are in place if Regen fails?
We deserve better than a rebranded disaster.
We will not accept Regen Facades without:
- Full disclosure of their history
- Proof of fair procurement
- Leaseholder consultation and oversight
