📅 June 2025
Dear Residents,
Following the release of the long-overdue 2023 accounts, our review reveals serious concerns:
❌ £88,000 Missing from 2022 Underspend
Residents were overcharged — no credits were applied in 2023, despite documented underspends across key services.
📈 Explosive Cost Increases (2021–2023)
- Repairs: £17k → £139k
- Fire Equipment: £2k → £19k
- Electricity: £26k → £63k
- Refuse: £294 → £15.5k
- Cleaning: Nearly doubled
These hikes are unexplained, unjustified, and out of step with actual service delivery.
🚫 Charged for Works That Never Happened
TTMC and Urang admitted £20,000 in lift works didn’t happen, yet you were still billed. Other refunded items remain uncredited.
✅ What We’re Doing
- Formal Section 22 request filed
- Preparing Tribunal challenge
- Working with forensic accountants
- Providing template request so residents can act too
📉 The Numbers Don’t Add Up
The 2023 accounts contradict the confirmed 2022 surplus, and declare a £218k deficit with no supporting bank statements — which TTMC refuses to disclose.
