Dear Leaseholder, Landlord, Shared Owner, and Qualifying Tenant,
Dear Residents,
As we enter 2025, we have several important updates regarding the management of Maltings Close, ongoing legal actions, and our collective Right to Manage (RTM) efforts.
πΉ Block D Nuisance Issue: We are addressing concerns regarding the new gate installation and are in discussions with Workman LLP to resolve the issue. If you are affected, please send evidence to [email protected].
πΉ Shocking Fraud by TTMC & Urang: Our forensic review has uncovered financial irregularities, including leaseholders being charged over Β£127,000 for services already paid by L&Q. This has been reported to fraud investigators, and legal proceedings are underway.
πΉ Potentially Forged Fire Safety Certificates: An individual linked to our ESW1 certificates is under investigation for alleged fraud, impacting mortgage approvals. We are investigating further and will update you soon.
πΉ Tribunal Proceedings & Fire Safety Documents: A recent tribunal ruling has ordered disclosure in our favor, ensuring transparency regarding fire risk assessments, insurance claims, and additional charges imposed on leaseholders.
πΉ London Fire Brigade Engagement: Our chairman recently met with London Fire Brigade Commander Jim Flinn, who has agreed to address residents in a future meeting regarding fire safety concerns.
We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and securing the best outcome for all leaseholders.
πΉ Support the Right to Manage (RTM) Initiative!
We invite all leaseholders to participate in the RTM vote. With over 70% support so far, we are making progress toward self-management. If you haven’t voted yet, visit www.maltingsclose.org/rtm to cast your vote.
Yours faithfully,
Maltings Close Residents Association & Maltings Close RTM Company Limited
