🛡️ Residents’ Safety Bulletin

Crime and Security Concerns

Dear Residents,

The Residents’ Association is taking the recent increase in crime and antisocial behaviour very seriously.

Over the past few months, we have been collating evidence of suspected drug dealing and other criminal activity connected with certain properties within our development. This evidence is being prepared for London & Quadrant and, where appropriate, the police.

Our goal is to protect everyone’s right to live safely and peacefully in their homes, and to hold landlords and managing agents to their obligations under the leases.

Once the Maltings Close Residents Management Company Limited takes over the Right to Manage from TTMC, residents can expect tighter and more effective security — not part-time, unsupervised and unqualified staff.

🔎 How You Can Help

1. Report thefts and incidents

  • If you have been a victim of theft or witnessed criminal behaviour, report it to the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number.
  • This includes any videos of antisocial behaviour on site.

2. Share details with us
Email: info@maltingslose.org with:

  • A brief description of the incident
  • The crime reference number
  • Whether you have already supplied footage (CCTV, phone video, etc.) to the police

This helps us establish what evidence TTMC still holds.

3. Preserve evidence

  • Do not delete any footage or photographs until you have confirmed it has been passed to the police.

📂 Why This Matters

We are compiling a dossier so that we can hold the responsible parties to account and press for stronger action from London & Quadrant and the managing agents.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep our homes safe and peaceful.
Together, we can build the strongest possible case for action.

With kind regards,
Maltings Close Residents Association (MCRA)
